Six games I keep for the commute
My phone's home screen is basically a test kitchen, games come and go constantly. But a few earn a permanent spot because they respect a ten-minute window and don't punish me for closing the app.
Legends of Slots is the lightest of them, a reel-matching matcher I tap without thinking. Nitro Canyon is the opposite energy, a quick arcade race that gets my heart rate up between stops. Both load instantly and that matters on a commute.
What these have in common is honest session design. No forced wait timers, no nagging to come back, no five-screen daily login dance before I can actually play. I just open the thing and play the thing.
If you're building your own commute lineup, my only real rule is this: if a game makes you work before it lets you play, delete it. There are too many good ones that don't.
