Colony Drift

Colony Drift puts you in charge of a space station that's slowly drifting through an asteroid field. You manage power, oxygen, food and the moods of settlers who will absolutely complain if you forget the heating. It's a management sim with just enough crisis to keep you leaning in.

The systems interlock nicely. Overbuild on power generation and you starve another resource; chase expansion too fast and your settlers burn out. We appreciated that the tutorial teaches the loop without holding your hand through every decision.

Pause-and-plan is your best friend here. The real-time flow can get hectic once multiple alerts fire, and learning to slow things down and think is half the game.
